GBA PRESS RELEASE,18, November 2007:
The Outline Development Plans (ODPs) of Mapusa and Panjim have been kept open by the North Goa Planning and Development Authority, for the public for viewing and objections if any, till 15 th December 2007.

For those who need to understand the Outline Development Plans, the Goa Bachao Abhiyan (GBA) is once again holding a day long exhibition together with presentations and explanations on the ODPs on Tuesday, 20 th November 2007, from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm, at the Clube Vasco da Gama, Panjim.

The GBA urges the general public to make it a point to attend as it is only through awareness and knowledge that accountability can be demanded from the policy makers, planners and law enforcing agencies. The GBA shall be holding repeat presentations in order to make it convenient for the public to attend.These presentations will be held at 11.00 a.m., 2.30 p.m. 4.30 p.m.and 6.00 p.m .

The GBA will also provide assistance in helping to draft individual objections, if so required by any persons/ group.
